Dr. Vivianne Arriola is a licensed psychologist (and Miami native) with over 10 years of experience providing therapeutic services, working with all ages ranging from early childhood years to older adults in a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health centers, outreach and private practice.
Dr. Arriola attained her APA-accredited doctoral degree in clinical psychology in South Florida, and completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in Los Angeles, CA.
During the course of her academic curriculum, Dr. Arriola worked at the department of Neuropsychology at the Miami Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital providing neuropsychological assessment and evaluations for veterans to determine cognitive damages and functioning.
Throughout her journey, Dr. Arriola attained specialized training in early childhood trauma and mental health; effects of prenatal stress during pregnancy; attachment disorders; and family court/foster care system.
During her Postdoctoral Associate position at the University of Florida, Dr. Arriola provided services to high-risk children and families in the rural population advocating for their educational and mental health rights, within the school board district and in the classroom setting.
The breadth and scope of Dr. Arriola’s dissertation closely examined the benefits of applying mindfulness meditation and visualization techniques to master sport performance and competition. An avid believer of the positive health benefits of meditation, Dr. Arriola continues to incorporate mindfulness meditation and spiritual psychology within her therapeutic sessions.
In addition to the spiritual component, Dr. Arriola provides Schematic/Cognitive therapy to assist her clients in identifying triggers and blockages that may be holding them back from reaching their optimal potential due to past conditioning.
Dr. Arriola completed her certification as a Hypnotherapist with the International Association of Counselors and Therapist (IACT). This organization was founded over 30 years ago, and is recognized all over the world. With a deep passion for the esoteric and alternative healing practices and ideology, Dr. Arriola also attained a specialized certification in Past Life Regression therapy with a concentrated focus in repairing past trauma.
